What to Bring to Class:
You can bring your own yoga mat, but there are yoga mats available at the studio to borrow. Blankets and blocks are provided. Bring water and wear comfortable work-out clothing. Typically, we take off our socks to practice yoga. Please do not wear strong perfumes or loud dangly jelewry. Thank you.
Monday (starting Sept 16), Tuesday, Thursday 6:15-7:30 pm
Connect with your baby, your body, and your spirit. Class begins with a sharing circle, addressing pregnancy joys and pains, and taking requests for yoga practice. We move on to centering, grounding, and breath work, followed by a steady flow of postures to build strength, balance, and flexibility. Class ends with a relaxation pose.
Yoni Yoga for Mamas
Sun. Postnatal Class (Small babies welcome):
12:00 - 1:15 pm
Wed. Postnatal Class (Just for moms, babies stay at home): 6:15-7:30 pm
For Non-Pregnant Women
Class is for mama to get her yoga and breath on, and babies are very welcome to tag along with mama to class and watch her do yoga, nurse, play on a yoga blanket by your side, sleep in car seat if you're fortunate enough :-) You're welcome to incorporate baby in your yoga but I won't be teaching that (not a mommy and me yoga class) or you're welcome to leave baby at home so you can get a mini-break.
